As stage Two comes to an end, i feel that it has been a fulfilling experience not only because it has enabled me to find my niche within photography but also because it has allowed me to make mistakes and develop from them. First and last projects i enjoyed the most because they were more along a documentary line than the narrative project. Although they were simple and delicate projects i think that will now give me the foundation to look into deeper themes for the final major project.

Looking back on the pathway, i was unsure as to whether photography was right for me but i have found that is really is and that honestly i could not imagine myself doing a different pathway. My initial issue was that i thought everything would be digital and that i wouldn't have the opportunity to work in an analogue way which i preferred. However once we starting creating prints and books i found that photography had bridged a gap for me between digital and analogue.

I think that having these three projects to test ideas and make mistakes has been incredibly helpful. I have been able to distil my ideas and ways of going about a project to now hopefully create my best piece of work for the final major project. I can now see the importance in the context of work and the end user and this is something that i will bear in mind in the FMP.

Given the opportunity to spend 10 weeks on a project i hope to incorporate all that i have learnt from the previous projects produce a well rounded project. Something that i do aim to improve on time management and being able to spend time with people and build rapport with them as this is very important within documentary photography and something at as yet i have not been able to do. Ideas are floating around my head with regards to the final major project and i am already planning on a project that is relatively easy to gain access to and produce some interesting work. Work that is meaningful and also beautifully constructed.
