As we were going through the launch presentation, Lauren showed a work by Lewis Khan which documented some of the stuff of the NHS which sparked a idea for me. My mum is a nurse who has recently been recognised for 25 years of service. since moving from Poole Hospital 6 odd years ago, she been working at an NHS hospice. I thought this could be a really topical and interesting project to do.
Planning
- I have spoken with my mum about getting access and she going to spread the word for me
- I need create a letter describing my plans, using images etc. and possibly fill out health and safety
- need to make clear that it is a documentary about the staff, making a sensitive documentary

Below is a really interesting interview with Lewis Khan about his work, Love Time, and ive pulled out some interesting quotes
The shift happened partly because of Lewis’ personal approach to making portraits: “I would meet people first without a camera, and spend time getting to know them and hanging out.”
