Week 3

This week, we pitched our ideas to peers to get feedback on what areas our concept could look at and develop.

One piece of feedback was about experimentation and the possible use of film in my work. Most peers agreed that using film would enhance my documentary work and create a certain feeling around it. Since i have lived in Hamworthy my entire life i think that using film will give nostalgia to my work and create a personal connection.

Other feedback was the possibility to look at interviewing the people that i encounter on my journey. If done, these will likely take the form of an informal interview such as quick notes whilst chatting to the individuals to then be included as written text in my photobook. I feel that formal interviews would be awkward and unnecessary of which my peers agreed however i will consider taking notes that could be added to my photobook.
