As a first step in my final project I needed to scout out locations that could be used in my final piece, focusing on areas within my little town which could describe Britishness and also my memories of the area.
Positives of test shoot
- found areas which could be included in final work
Things to improve
- make sure to go on grey days to be consist and also show a certain mood to the work
- take out one of the medium format cameras to test out what film might be like, drawing from the work of Simon Roberts
Hamworthy is almost a little island surrounded by Holes Bay and the English Channel, it is an an area that has a close bond with the sea, nature and leisure.
I thought that I could maybe use older images of Hamworthy to show time and how it has effected the town. As I am quite young I would like to get a more in depth look at the history of Hamworthy through the oral history from locals. I think the images could be a good visual aid to my work.
