End user context - book

During the project, I have been hugely influenced by practitioners such as Alec Soth and John Spinks which informed that the best context for my work would be photobook. A book allows for my work to communicate a journey and create a clear theme. It is likely that a majority of the audience viewing my work will not have a first hand experience of Hamworthy therefore my book will create a first impression of the place.

My work would best suit a gallery space such as The Photographers gallery in London. If not confined by space, alongside my photobook i would like to include some life sized prints of the people i have photographed to get a sense of stepping into their world. Below is a possibility of how my display may look. I plan to have two large prints alongside my book. Currently i have not decided what images to use but it is a vital decision as they will be the first visual the audience sees. I think it will important to have an image of one of the individuals I've shot along with an environmental image as i feel that will best explain my project.

Alongside the prints, I think it will important to create a photobook that's cover is plain so that it does not clash visually. As i plan for the book to be blank otherthan the title, the title will be key. I am unsure as to what to name my project, the working title is currently BH15 which i dislike. I am thinking of maybe using the coordinates of Hamworthy to give a a sense of obscurity.

(Mock up how I might present my work)

With regards to my final photobook I am looking at using either the small square (7x7) or the large square (12x12) which Blurb offer.
